Medical card holders also get help with the cost of glasses. Single vision glasses are free with the HSE grade frame or you can choose another frame and the lenses will be free while you pay the cost of the frame. Our bifocal lenses are free with medical cards and varifocals start at only €35.

Medical card allowances also include discounts off tints, transition lenses and thinner lenses for higher prescriptions.
